Years ago, the building, which now houses our market, accommodated generators that supplied electricity to the trolley cars that ran through Collegeville, PA. Later, the building was used to store lumber.
In 1970, the late Erv
Shainline bought this building, renovated it several times, and started a flea market.
His daughters then
took over the business and expanded the market to what it is today.
